The pompano bite has really picked up in the past week. Yesterday on our afternoon trip, we limited out with 6 anglers catching 36 bringing lot's of smiles . Bonefish and ladyfish are in the flats with sheepshead, snapper and black drum at the bridges. Spanish mackerel are still along the beaches but I have not been able to target them in almost a month with high seas. To get outside, I require 2 foit seas or less to run along the beaches. The macs are normally around till the end of March. Around April we start more livebaiting trips for snook. Have not targeted tripletail much this year yet but trust me I will. Want to top last years total of 177 caught aboard Catch 22.
