Trip Summary

Well today was day #2 of our “Great Big 5 Day Red Snapper Season”…so graciously given to us by the brain children at NOAA. Day #1 on 7/12 was a wash out due to high winds Off today with the Anders crew.Started out catching live bait then went offshore.Spent he bulk of the day livebaiting for Red Snappers.We caught 5 nice ones and a nice Grouper plus a few smallers ones as well as some Sharks and Almaco Jacks. Spent a little while at the end of the trip bottomfishing with the light spinning tackle and caught

Well is was blowing harder today than yesterday...North/West a steady 25 knots gusting to 30 plus at times. We anchored up in the white water at Cape Point for a while trying to catch a Drum...no Drum..Caught some Bluefish ...finally ended up in the Sound trolling and did OK on the Bluefish
