Trip Summary

Found a nice floater in 900' of water with a big tripletail and a school of keeper mahi along with a big bull and a nice cow. All the mahi were caught on live pilchards and lures. Then did some deep dropping for roasies.

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.
