We had a great afternoon trip yesterday. We left the dock and found perfect conditions in the local area. Our options were to head towards the other 300 boats all fishing in one area, or go the opposite direction and work near the marina. We ended up working near the marina without another boat in sight in Lake Catherine and BOOM!! Got'em!!! In a few hours this fun crew put 50 NICE trout and a few reds on ice. We must have thrown back about 30 trout that were 12" - 13". These guys were only interested in keeping 15" and up. Live Shrimp was the only thing the Trout wanted to eat.
