Memorable trip for our returning guest's first blue marlin. The surprise strike when everything was quiet and the screaming reel,lots of acrobatics close to the boat,strong fish givng a good fight,marlin fishing at it's best for the beginningof the year....

Out on another beautiful day with our regular guests for some good time on the water.With the birds working and area and not getting any bites we devided to change tactics and it soon paid off with our light tackle reel screaming. Our only fear was that the sharks were going to feast on that fish as it has been the case very often during that week. Luckly we got the tuna and our customer had a very good fight.We hooked 2 more tunas but the sharks ate both. We went back with a 80lbs yellowfin tuna.

On our way out we found some big schools of skipjacks but they were very shy.After a few turns we managed to catch one and decided to do a bit of live baiting. After about half an hour of trolling the skipjack got bitten by a wahoo the it followed the boat for a few seconds, which gave us enough time to get some wire cable and catch the 30kgs fish. It did give a nice fight before we could get it onboard.
