Trip Summary
Inspite of the cold front and tough conditions, we were able to find steady action on the local reefs. We caught lots of short grouper and a smorgasbord of other species. we didn't run into any Barracuda or Bonita, but we hooked a hundred Spanish Mackerel on the surface. We kept a handfull of them, some Black Sea Bass, Snapper, Founder, and Key West Grunts. The bite should pick up as we transition into steadier temperatures.
