The black drum and sheepshead bite has really picked up in the last month. Drum are running up to 9lbs and sheepshead to 4lbs. Pompano has been hit or miss so far this season but February- March is best. Along with pompano, look for bonefish in the flats. Some snook in the inlet and bridges. We normally start livebaiting trips around April using pilchards or greenies on circle hooks. Tripletail and flounder north of the Jensen Causeway. The spanish mackerel have arrived off Peck's Lake and will be around thru April.
