Crocodile Madness!

Trip Summary

Water in flamingo today was extremely murky with 20kt winds from the ENE. Still managed to catch a few snook. Caught 10 snook total and landed 1 tarpon. Jumped one other tarpon on fly and jumped another on spin. No reds, trout, or black drum to be seen. Tide was the lowest its been in a while. Full moon + North component winds equals super low tides. Saw one of the biggest crocodiles of my life. I did not manage to take a picture of it but it could have easily taken the croc I did take a picture of. The megacroc must have been 16-17ft and weigh well over 1000lbs. It was also not gray but entirely black. Scary stuff but that's what I love about the everglades.
