Trip Summary
Had a busy weekend with charters on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's trip was with Wade, his wife Katherine, and their friend Maggie. While Wade had some experience fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, this was Katherine and Maggie's first time offshore.
We kept it easy with a nice day of trolling Clark spoons for Spanish Mackerel, fairly close to shore. The plan was just to keep enough for a good meal, so once we had a few fish on ice, everything else went back into the water. We didn't encounter any giants on this trip, but the fish were reasonably cooperative.
Lesson for this Captain... I've got two cameras on the boat. I need to remember to use them more often!
