Trip Summary
I just wanted to put up a quick update. The late summer fishing, as usual, has been pretty slow. When the weather has cooperated, we've been out there and picked up some king mackerel, but the warm water is really keeping the bite slow.
It's just as well, perhaps, that we have made the tough decision to keep the charters closed until mid-September. It looks like the Covid-19 cases are starting to trend downward, and that's great news. If that trend continues, we'll be ready to open up just as the fall fishing really starts to turn on again.
Let's keep our fingers crossed, and I'll keep the hooks sharp!
