Trip Summary

Left dock around 8 am today. My guests, Greg his two daughters and son-in-law gave the waves a little time to to dissipate after the overnight wind. We made a long 21 mile run eastward into the large rollers. Once there it took a while to dial in a program and speed. Bandits 90 back 3 oz. TruTrip 50s 50 to 80 back with Bomber Long As and Ripplin Redfins. Dipsey 2 setting 65 back also with Bombers. The constant large rollers took one of the crew down early, whichb cut our trip 6 short. Greg, Catlyn, Ashley and Bryn did great getting fish to the net. NO dropped fish today. #lakeerie #BlackH2oDog

? Christmas Charter Recap โ€“ BlackH2oDog Charters ? For Christmas, Betty gave an awesome giftโ€”booking a two-day charter for her husband Ralph and their buddy Jeff. After a 6-hour wind delay, we finally got the green light and left West Harbor, heading east of the islands. It didnโ€™t take long to get things rollingโ€ฆ A BADMO LURES Arrowhead Spoon went back on a #3 Dipsey 42 back and was instantly firing as it was set in the rod holder! As I was attaching the first Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 planer board it was clear the attachung a board.was not necessary as it had a Walleye. At the same time, another dipsey rod buried with a solid eater-sized. Walleye on a Berkley Fishing Deep Hitstick 9 at 32/32 back. From there, it was controlled chaosโ€”in the best way possible. It took a little work, but we got all three boards per side dialed in just as we were wrapping up our first ticket. **Program that produced:** - Boards: 30/30 and 35/35 on one side, 40/40 on the other - Corners: Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s pulling fish at 33 and 38 back I was so busy netting fish, resetting lines, and keeping the crew rolling that I unfortunately missed snapping action shotsโ€”but trust meโ€ฆ it was nonstop! We had their fish, on the downhill and troughed Southward to finish mine and nine more as we put the gear away. Great first day with this Cincinnati crewโ€”looking forward to getting back after them on Day 2 ?? #BlackH2oDogCharters #WalleyeFishing #LakeErie #ChristmasGift #FishingTrip #OffshoreTackle #BerkleyFishing #BADMOLures
