Steven arranged a Lake Erie Walleye Charter experience for his son's 13th birthday. We had an awesome morning on the water. We had to be back to the dock early for them to hit the road. I had to reschedule due to yesterday's blow. We had the Off Shore Tackle Company boards going back as soon as the 3rd rod was is, we took a quick 3 and then a lull. We worked a mile long stretch between the islands. Speed was 1.8 mph leads were scattered but 80 to100 seemed the best. We were all reelers today. Sutton had plan oh so close FO. Tom and Kent were back for day 2 with their Off Shore Tackle Company planner board hands on training. We had to delay for most of the day due to high winds. We left West Harbor and fished West of KI. Mike and his Wife Susan were in the area to fish for cats in the bay but wanted a little Lake Erie time for Walleye. This was a drift and troll day utilizing the islands as wind protection. We cast for a while, but we're only able to catch one and two year olds. Since a Walleye dinner was in the plans, we brought out the BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons and went to work.
