Trip Summary

Had two big hits this morning one broke a split ring and the second one was a nice wahoo that ended up in the cooler. It's rare I get a Saturday off but I had no trip this morning so decided to give it a shot all alone and it paid off. Let's go fishing you can't catch them from the couch!

The springtime fishing has been great action most days out there and theres been plenty of blackfin tuna, mahi, sailfish, and some wahoo around. Grouper season has finally opened and we'll be fishing for them until December.

April is the first month we start to see mahi in greater numbers and today was a good showing of them. With over 20 fish caught and a few keepers in the mix it was good action trolling and on the live baits when we would get a school up to the boat!
