We headed 55nm SW out of Blind Pass (Sanibel, FL) and fished 75-120 feet of water. We found a mixed bag of Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper and YellowTail Snapper. The Red Grouper ranged from 18-27 inches. The Lanes were average size while the Yellowtail were a step larger at 14-17 inches.
Bait: cut squid and bonita strips on the bottom and tipped jigs for the Yellowtail.
