Trip Summary

Greg and Glenda came in from Texas for two days of fishing. The weather wasn't the greatest on the first day, but we focused on some locations near the marina for trout and put together a mix of 35 Speckled Trout and White Trout. Later in the morning, we turned our focus to Redfish and moved over to the flats near the Intercoastal. Found the Redfish schooled up and caught a quick limit using live shrimp under a popping cork. Donna and Lorraine returned to the Bluewave for a quick trip recently. The ladies put their share of fish in the boat using live shrimp and artificial baits. Liz and Nick returned for another fun day on the Bluewave recently. We covered over 30 miles of water, finding a slow trout bite every bit of the way. The last hour of the trip the wind died, giving us perfect conditions for sight fishing redfish. They caught enough to save the day and kept a couple for the trip home. Captain Drake Morvant
