Trip Summary

We had to wait out the rain but it paid off with action all over port everglades and the jetty. Got into about a dozen barracudas, one snook, and a bunch of jacks in the canals. Sometimes you don't have to travel far for the action and the inshore fishing is getting better by the day!

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.
