Trip Summary

Flat calm conditions and no wind in the morning allowed us some wreck fishing we ended up loosing some really nice fish but one almaco jack made it to the cooler. Trolling we got two skipjack tuna lost one and jumped a mahi off the line as well all in 650ft of water. Ended the trip bottom fishing with a big hit on some nice Vermillion snapper biggest went 20".

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.
