Grouper season opened up today and we got out there and did some freediving early in the morning. I shot the first of the day, a nice red, and a friend of mine shot a big gag after a short chase. After we were tired from all the diving we went offshore with some live bait for mahi and ended up with a sailfish instead! We fought the fish for 35min on light tackle and after allmost getting it close enough to grab for a pic about 5 seperate times he finally broke the leader. Still an awesome fish to catch on light tackle spinning gear.
