We trolled first thing this morning and got a nice king than shot offshore looking for mahi. After about an hour of no luck running around checking a few weedlines i spotted three birds working the surface and we hustled right over to them to find a school of small mahi that had some bait balled up. We caught about ten before they were spooked on the live bait and 4 were legal fish. Trolled a bit with no luck and than found another school this time casting artificials at them. We ended up with 5 or 6 more fish all throwbacks but always excited to see them out there. Yesterday we found a school in 150' today 850' so you just never know.
