Trip Summary

Well today was our first trip of the 2021 season and it was with the Ring crew from W.V. These guys were aboard on 7/30/2019 when I got bit by the shark!!! We almost did not go today due to bad weather…but we decided to try it anyway…and it was brutal..but we did OK and the motor ran great. We started out catching live bait and went wreck fishing and caught some Almaco & Amberjacks We then swithed over to bottomfishing and caught Seabass,Triggerfish,a few Snappers ,a Gag Grouper and a couple of sharks. These guys presented me with a major award. A super nice home made plaque with antique fishing reels and baits and the jaws out of the shark that bit me!!! Thanks guys …you are the greatest

Well is was blowing harder today than yesterday...North/West a steady 25 knots gusting to 30 plus at times. We anchored up in the white water at Cape Point for a while trying to catch a Drum...no Drum..Caught some Bluefish ...finally ended up in the Sound trolling and did OK on the Bluefish
