One fish, two fish, redfish, SHARK!!!! Yesterday’s afternoon trip with Dylan Cox was nothing short of epic. I lost count of the amount of redfish we put in the boat, but it was way into double digits. The icing on the trip was when a 5 foot blacktip shark decided to make one of the redfish his supper. I’ve never seen a fish fight so hard in my life, then when I realized what was going on I locked down the drag and tried getting him away but the shark won. As much as I hate to see a beautiful fish go like that, such is the circle of life and in the gin clear shallow water it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. The good Lord sure did create an amazing world for us, and we are truly blessed to be living in it.
