Trip Summary

We have experienced heavy rain in the past week. This has completely changed my approach to chasing smallmouth bass. The baits that have really shined during all the high muddy are spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Look for areas where the water seems to be not as stained. Look for large rocks and large trees in flooded areas. Target every large rock and large tree you can find. Cast towards them from several different angles. This technique will produce a strike.
