Trip Summary
Bait has been all over the usual spots in Tampa Bay. jacks, ladyfish, and spanish mackerel have been feeding heavily making for fast action. There have been quite a few redfish and snook willing to cooperate for great catch and release fun on the grass flats and mangrove shorelines. The magrove snapper bite remains great and the gag grouper fishing is getting good as well. We are forcasted to get our first cold front of the year at the end of the month. It is shaping up to be great fall fishing. The boat traffic is low and so is the traffic on Anna Maria Island making for a great time to visit some of the great restaurants.
