Most definitely would recommend fishing in Gulfport. Seems like there is a better chance to catch fish since there are not as many boats as there are in more well known areas so you almost have all the fish to yourself!

in August, I would recommend leaving earlier than 7:00 a.m., if that works for your captain . And pick the six hour trip… you can relax, and it does not feel rushed . Enjoy!
