Hi friends! Capt Josh here with the first installment of my bi-weekly fishing reports! Decided to do a scouting trip yesterday 1/6/22 out to 105 ft if water and what we found was exaclty what i hoped for. The big Red Groupers and the biggest mangrove snapper i’ve ever had the pleasure of catching are present and abundant! I decided to drop 1 ounce deep drop jig heads tipped with an assortment of live and dead baits, including pinfish, hand select shrimp and frozen threadfins, all produced fish, of course the live pins snagged these two in the pics above. Needless to say i was very pleased with the results and the start to the Red Grouper season! Book your trip today!
