The day started out very quick with multiple quick hook ups on trout, reds, and black drum. Our client's ended up taking a cooler full of trout and black drum home to eat. We had multiple hook ups all day with at least 40 or more landed fish. Some of the trout on deck were over 20 inches in length and were killer in size perfect for filets and our grilling. All of our catch was caught under a popping cork tossed up against the grass line worked back with a popping action using live shrimp as our bait of choice. The early morning bite on the incoming tide couldn't have worked out any better for us, leaving a very successful day and putting us of the water before the outside Temps got a little too warm.
