It's been an eventful week on the water for Smokin' Hooks. The waters have been relatively calm and the storms have kept to the later afternoon to provide a full day of fishing. It's been hot out there but we keep plenty of ice and waters on board to stay cool and the cover on the boat provides for nice shade. There have been some nice Groupers coming in right around the 8 mile mark this week. We're seeing more keepers with the warm waters and the regular abundance of Snapper with an occasional Barracuda. On a shark trip last Monday we brought in 5 nice size sharks including an 8 footer. Most important, every trip has brought lasting memories to families and fishing friends across the U.S.
