Trip Summary

Fun day with Mark, Matt and friends from Texas. Been fishing together for a number of years. Out for a catch and release day. Catch and release on many Red snapper, couple 40-50lb lemon sharks. Closer inland when the tide was right it was Bull red action, slot reds, sheepshead and drum. We couldn’t help but keep a few. Great day of fishing and looking good for a full month of March around the corner.

Another Capt Chad fishing guide out of North Dakota with brother in law and friends. Flew into New Orleans for a stay in the city. Wanted to fish Venice for the first time and catch a bunch of fish. Wind still blowing, river still low and the fish were hammering again! Limits of redfish, box full of sheepshead and drumfish, flounder, pompano to top it off. We had a great time of fishing and fellowship on the Mississippi Delta!

Mark Tilley and his good friend Mike after their first bull reds. They got a couple today, even scoring on 40” club. 42” and a big 46”. High fives, fist bumps, on a great day of catching all their expectations were set on. Fun fun day with two fun guys.
