Fun time in the Gulf of Mexico today with Jim Kothman Delores Hohn and Mickey and Diane Maness. Fished Federal waters for Red snapper and got a Bonus Cobia!! We pulled into the Honey hole and drifted once with out success. Then Moved a couple of hundred fit and Bam!! Limit of nice Red Snapper. We had a couple of break offs early but then started sticking them and landing em. BIG SHOUT OUT TO Philip Walker of RSR Lures for providing the slabs that these fish are caught on!! Check out the one pig with the God Father slab in his mouth. He was caught on 20lb test line with a 30lb leader and light tackle!! Had a few throw backs also.
