Now that Salmon a Rama is over and the Whitewater Express II got a bath, time to recap. Two in a boat started off with a dandy 21.9lb king which was .3lbs shy of big fish for boats under 23’. Between the blow days I booked it up to Sheboygan which was fun but couldn’t find what I was looking for. The grind continued till Supersweeps where 9 was the magic number boat number 9, 9th place overall and 9th place for the SW Series. Nate Tina and I cleaned up out in deep water with a good mix of species including one of the neatest steelhead I’ve ever seen. Final day ended up sticking a 26lb king which a couple pounds more and it would have been a long bumpy run to Racine. Now time to knock out some charters and get ready for Brew City. Going to need 3 good bites to stay in the hunt for the series.
