The Catch
Shark (Bull)
Snapper (Mangrove)

Had the pleasure of taking Chris and Brandon from Ohio out and had a blast. We hit up some reefs several miles out from John Pass (Madeira Beach) and as soon as we found the fish, they found our live shrimp tipped jigheads! We caught plenty of nice Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, a Bull Shark (released) and even an elusive Hogfish! Normally, we don’t get those inside State Waters but Brandon sure enough stuck one! We were visited by a monster sea turtle, boiling bonito, swarming sharks and greater barracuda that kept trying to eat the sweet fish that we kept hooking (who can blame them them, though?!). It was one of those days where everything was perfect - the group, the weather, the sea life, the bite, and even the music. Just a great father & son and it was an absolute pleasure to have them aboard! Can’t wait until their next trip down, and for another crack at that one Grouper that punked us! Right, Brandon? lol…
