We went out for a 4hrs half day trip. The weather was perfect. A bit cloudy and some wind. Few minutes out we had a first strike on the short corner line. The first fish landed was a beautiful 30 pounds w ahoo. We decided to fish in that same area which is about 1 nautical miles from the coast. After about 30 minutes of trolling we detected 2 schools further in the south. When arriving in the first school 5 lines went at the same time. 2 were cut bu sharks and we caught 3. We went a 2nd time hooked 3 when bringing one of the bonitoes back we could clearly see that it was attacked by a marlin. So we shifted to live bait. We tried live bait by following the school but no success. Madame started feeling seasick so we went back with the artificial lures and caught some more skipjacks. We were back at the beach at 11a.m with 9 skipjacks and a wahoo.
