Trip Summary

We went out for a 8hrs full day trip. We started from the beach of Le Morne and 30 mins after the reef we saw the first school of fish but no bit we shifted to another one and hooked several bonitoes at the same time and caught 2 that we immediately used as live bait. After trolling about half and hour with the live bait we hooked a mako shark that we fight for 1 and a half hour the impressive shark was behind the boat. After taking some pictures we released the shark. We continued trolling with the second live bait for an hour more then shifted to artificial lures. While going through a school several time we caught one more bonito and 2 yellowfin. We then put the rappalas at the back because the yellowfin tuna were feeding at the suface. We caught 2 more and were back at shore with some wonderful experience.
