We went fishing Saturday before Easter with mom dad and the 3 boys who wanted action. Its the very start of the season but its heating up every day. We had a slow start due to green water pushing offshore but we went deeper to fimd the blue water amd the fish. In 600ft and 60 miles from home we found them on a little current edge. We were hooking them 3 to 5 at a time and ended the day with 13. We definitely left them biting as the boys had to be back to a ball game at 3:30. Its the time of year everyone waits for days are filling up and the fish are biting. The larger fish are always close behind so we’re expecting them in the next week or two the weather is beautiful lets go fishing.

Blue water trolling season is heating up off of St. Augustine. With more and more Mahi-mahi being caught everyday and a red hot tuna bite there’s plenty of fun to be had. Now if your looking for sailfish March and April are hot months. Some elusive Blue Marlin are starting to make an appearance. On Saturday it was our customers first time trolling and he caught his first sailfish and his first blue marlin all in one day. I bet his expectations are set pretty high now. So if you want to target meat fish or if you want to target billfish just let us know when you book so we can cater towards what you want to catch on Your trip. Tight lines - Capt Dalton

It was slick calm and warm weather for the first time in a while. We went bottom fishing on a 8hour trip with some veterans on they’re last day in St. Augustine. After catching enough triggers and beliners for dinner that night they decided they’d like something that pulled really hard so we picked up the lines and ran 5 miles to another spot where we have been catching amberjack on a previous trip. We kept our limit of 3 eating size but released another 30 with a couple of studs mixed in. All in all was a great day fishing with great people. I’ll see you on the water. - Capt. Dalton
