Trip Summary

Today couldn't have gone much better we started out with a barracuda on our first drop then on the second drop a sailfish hit the bottom bait and took off on a wild run! After about a 30min fight we landed it took a quick picture and safely released it. Then we went for some meat and got an easy limit of snapper out deep. With the last 20 min we got lucky and landed and released two big grouper off the reef. What a day!

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.
