Started day with a little too much wind for a great drift over spot i was hoping to fish. Had to find a spot in reef structure that kept us over good structure for a longer period - aligning drift direction woth reef structure. Once we did we started to get into some keeper lingcod and rockfish. After a couple drifts the wind backed off and we ran back to spot i was hoping to fish at outset of trip. After an intial drift to get dialed in on fish we started boating fish on every drift. Had a couple young fellas (13 years old) fishing the ocean for the first time and they did great. Awesome trip out and put 9 lingcod and 18-20 rockfish on board. Good times on Good Time Charlie Sportfishing.
