We started out inshore and caught some trout and redfish using 15 lb braid with a 20 lb mono leader and pilchards for bait. It slowed down so we went out on the beach and were catching mackeral and small kingfish . Sharks started to show up so we busted out the 50 lb braid conventional rod and put a big bait on and within minutes we hooked up on a 7 1/2 foot black tip. we pulled on this fish for 56 minutes to land and release this monster all in all it was a great day!
