Trip Summary

Hi All The Opening Day of Trout Season is almost here. It has been a great Steelhead season ! The last few days out with Client Pete and friends Brooke and Russ have been a lot of FUN ! Catching Steelhead and Brown Trout on Streamers is a blast. Bone crushing strikes, rip the rod from your hands, if you let them..The boat launches are way less busy than a couple weeks ago as my picture shows. Book a trip and sit in that seat and we will cast flies or lures all day or half day from the casting brace. I will be back out tomorrow and with any luck getting more pictures for the next report. Hi All There is about 4 to 6 weeks of Summer heat left. Time to cash in on Pike and Smallmouth Bass. I have been fishing Browns and Rainbows for a few hours in the a.m. then switching over to Bass and Pike as the water warms. Fishing has been good. Mid August thur Mid September is a great time to book trips for King Salmon as they make there way up into the rivers to spawn. We catch these awesome sport fish with spinning gear and lures. It's bass style casting for 10lb.--30lb+ Salmon biting a lure your casting and retrieving similar to Bass style fishing. We cast flies for the Kings as well but best results are from the lures.
