Trip Summary

Right now is the perfect time to book a wade trip. Speckled Trout are spawning and there in the grass beds. Bait and protected shorelines has been producing nice Speckled Trout in South Texas. Keep in mind regulations on trout have changed. I fish more for the upper slot trout so the bite tends to be a little more inconsistent compared to the schooling size trout. Little more patience but they are great eating and the bigger ones get to swim off safely.

Winter low tides are still around but spring heat and wind is slowing showing. Water temps are climbing and fishing is heating up. Noticing a lot of finger mullet showing up and schools of drum pushing in. Redfish are still scattered but none the less its been a great time of year to fish. Lots of fish being caught and its still not scorching hot yet. Lets get you on the water for a great time.
