Trip Summary

The spring striped bass run in Jamaica Bay continues to produce plenty of action with slot-sized bass, schoolies, and a few “overs” recently. Bluefish are mixed in with the bass at times. This week of warm weather also helped kickstart the local fluke bite. Book now if you want to get in on the action. Plenty of available on our sunset special trips as well as a few weekend dates. ??

Picking up right where we left off at the end of last season. Striped bass have returned. We’ll catch them good through mid June before switching gears to summer flounder (fluke) and bluefish. All good ??

Another fishing season is back upon us. Striped bass of all sizes are stacked up in the back bays, feeding on adult bunker but readily wacking surface lures and swim shads as well. We look forward to seeing this good back bay, calm water striped bass fishing continue into June before the water temperature climbs up and the bass are replaced by fluke and bluefish.
