With weather permitting, I spent a lot of time this early season on the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. Been waiting for the lake water to warm up to bring those pre-spawn crappies shallow. Both the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers are not talked about for their excellent crappie population. Book an early season trip and we'll go catch a limit! I'm trying to be patient and not rush things but I cannot wait for ice season this year! Last year we had an outstanding bite although drivable ice was short lived due to the snow and slush. Book your trip now and get the best available dates! If you've never tried ice fishing I highly recommend it it's a blast!
