Florins group of hardened anglers extended their fishing trip aboard HUSSLER and straight outside the harbour we were into School Bass and Mackerel some of the action was so close to the shore we were worried about grounding the boat. The rest of the day was more Mackerel and a handful of Smoothounds that couldn't resist our live prawns. Unusual catches were a small Cuttlefish and a small Bull Huss. With the water still warm we can expect the Bass and Hounds to stay around into November along with Whiting and a return of the Thornback Ray that have been absent probably due to the high water temperatures. Plenty of dates available if you fancy a trip.
