Trip Summary

We went out for a full day trip. The weather was rainy and windy. It was harder than usual to spot the schools of fishes. After trolling for some hours and swapping lures we met a school of mahi mahi...we had 3...to 4 chassing the lures but no success. We tried pieces of bonito as bait... no bite from the doradoes. We then decided to go further north near a FAD. Arriving there we changed technique and caught a wahoo on rappala. We tried catching a small tuna for live bait but the tuna did not want to bite. We put back the big lures and started trolling. Few minutes later a blue marlin was on and dancing on it's tail at the back of the boat. We managed to take all the lines out and the fight could start. We caught the marlin and were soon back trolling. Had a strike on the long rigger lure but missed the fish. T Afterwards we caught a splendid dorado. We were back at 2p.m with some nice fishes
