Walleye
Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Had the pleasure of fishing with two gentleman from west Virginia out on the big water yesterday. We were faced with some not so ideal weather. Fog, iceburgs and cold, but the flat seas and big fish made up for it. We still had a great time out there thanks to the heated cabin. Water temps were 32.5, and the fish were somewhat feeding but slow. We were able to boat some really nice fish in the 7-8lb range. Trolling large crankaits up high was the key for us today. Winter time can be awsome fishing when the weather's right. These big fish are hard to come by once april rolls around. So, get booked if you're looking for a wallhanger giant walleye or just looking to fill the freezers.
