Trip Summary

It was a bit slow the beginning of February but just like a light switch it has turned on. The live bakt bite for sailfish has been outstanding, the bottom fishing for snapper and grouper, amberjack, and African pompano is also great.

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.
