April 6, 2024, was a beautiful day to go fishing with a beautiful family, Ace (Dad) Marina (Mom), Alex (8 years old) and his sister Amelia (10 years old). Blowtoads ended up being the catch
of the day, however, we lost few nice fish in the wash. The water temp is still a bit cool (55 degrees), but fish are starting to show up. There were reports of big blues, black drum, and an occasional sea mullet. We will see the first Pompano soon. It's important when taking children fishing to bring some beach toys and size appropriate beach chairs to help fill in the time between bites. We provide them and more! Speaking of bites, we also provide snacks. Oreos were a big hit today! Coastal Life Outfitters is a strong advocate of teaching children to fish.
