I was fortunate to get out on the water for a 1/2 day trip with Caitlyn and Tony. They were visiting from Indiana and wanted to get out on the lake while they were in town. The bite was slow starting off, with Tony boating a few fish on a chopo. As the sun got up we moved out deep to the ledges. Caitlyn went to work with a drop shot and boated some respectable keepers. The morning was a grind but Caitlyn and Tony persevered.

I hit the water for an early half day trip with Rochelle and Chris. It was a ton of fun fishing with them! Rochelle put a solid largemouth in the boat right away. The bite was slow but steady. They were up for the adventure and fished hard all day. In the end, we put close to 20 fish in the boat. It was a great start to Father’s Day with a couple of great people.
