Big Fish Day!

Trip Summary

The good Lord has certainly blessed my crew lately with big fish. Thursday was no exception as Larry hooked up with this 32-in Black Drum drag puller and got him to the boat. Not to be out done, Marlee proceeded to do battle with a 35 in monster Black Drum and after a few laps around the boat and under the boat she finally outlasted him and ended up landing the biggest fish of the day! Apparently, she likes to do battle with sea monsters as she hooked into a trash can lid size Ray that also gave her one heck of a fight. Jared had quite a day himself with a beautiful, fat 30-in hard fighting Redfish, a stud 21 inch Seatrout, and hooked up and jumped a big Snook who sliced the leader with his gill plate on the jump. They also caught some hard pulling Jacks, small Redfish, Flounder, and Whiting. I love taking local people out and showing them what they have in their own backyard! It was definitely another blessed day in God's Country!
