Trip Summary

After several windy days last week we finally got back on the water on Monday, May 13 and found a pretty steady mackinaw bite on fish to about 6 pounds. The highlight of the day was watching Yulie, who's visiting from Moscow, Russia, catch her first Lake Tahoe fish! The weather is looking good now and the fishing should just keep on improving!

Brad Rudolph fished withe me almost one year ago and caught a 20-pound lake trout. He followed it up on May 18 with an 18 pounder! Pretty cool!! He caught this fish on a live minnow on light tackle and it put up an awesome fight. The fish last year was caught on the troll. Both fish were released!
