Trip Summary

Red Snapper season has officially been announced. The season will be (June 1, 2024 - August 28, 2024). This will be one of the longest Red Snapper seasons in over a decade. Currently the New Beginning has only a couple morning trips left in June with a handful of afternoons. July is progressively booking with the first week already claimed. August has a lot of availability left, and with the extended Red Snapper season you can still get in on the action. If you would like to target these amazing fish check out the calendar and lets go fishing!

This year's Red Snapper season has been posted. June 1st - September 15th!! Gag Grouper will open for a short period of time starting September 1st. Greater Amberjack will open September 1st. Success on the short bottom fishing trips! They both managed enough for dinner, and we got to play around with some other species for pictures and memories. These fish pictured are only the fish we brought back to the dock. The larger fish were safely released and waiting for us when the seasons open. Its been a while since the New Beginning has been Offshore Trolling. After traveling all night we made it to the big fish grounds first thing that morning. We managed a limit of Black Fin Tuna, caught a nice Yellowfin Tuna, and even got 2 Big Wahoo. This style of fishing is very addicting and always makes us want to go back for more.
